ManKind Project Aotearoa is a charitable trust and part of the global ManKind Project – a worldwide brotherhood of men supporting men.
For many years we’ve supported New Zealand men to live with more honesty, purpose and heart. [Confirm years and history before publishing.]
Our nearest brother communities are across the Tasman – explore ManKind Project Australia (NSW & ACT, Victoria, South Australia), MKP Queensland, and MKP Western Australia. MKP International can be found here.
Our values
- Authenticity – meeting life and each other honestly.
- Accountability – owning our impact, not our excuses.
- Integrity – living in line with our word.
- Service – giving back to the men who come after us.
- Respect – for every man, and for te ao Māori as tangata Tiriti.
The need
Most men don’t get as much, if any support they need. Too many carry it alone – and we exist to change that. In Aotearoa New Zealand, men account for roughly three in four deaths by suicide.

Trustees & governance

We’re a registered New Zealand charitable entity – The Mankind Project (New Zealand), Charities Register CC41590. Donations are tax-deductible for New Zealand donors.
