ManKind Project Aotearoa

FAQ

Answers to the questions men ask us most. Still wondering if it’s for you? See Is the NWTA right for me?

Before you come

Do I need any experience?

None at all. Men arrive from every background with no preparation needed — just yourself.

What should I bring?

Once you register, we’ll send a clear “what to bring” list. Nothing unusual — comfortable clothes, a sleeping bag, and an open mind.

The weekend

What actually happens?

A residential weekend of challenge, ritual, honesty and genuine connection, held by a trained team. The specifics stay under wraps on purpose — the discovery is part of it. You’re always in charge of how deep you go.

Is it confidential?

Yes — strictly. What’s shared on the weekend stays there.

Cost

How much is it, and what’s included?

The fee covers your fully catered, staffed residential weekend. See Dates & Register for current pricing. If cost is a barrier, talk to us.

After the weekend

What happens next?

You’re welcome to join an I-Group — a circle of men who meet regularly. That’s where the lasting change happens.

Getting involved

Can I help or give back?

Absolutely — through staffing, leadership and koha. See Beyond the Weekend.
